I live in south east london and have done every run starting and finishing south of the river in the first 80, should i continue doing blue book 1 north of the river or get bluebook 2 and get very confortable with the south before going north? thanks.

I would do all the runs in sequence to be honest. I found it daunting when I first had to a load of runs in South London. I now think I know some of these runs/road better than the ones close to me in North London.
You need to embrace that you are going to new areas and seeing all the great things around London.
